BaseStack help article
Organize projects, skills, and achievements
Make your profile tree easier for the AI to use by grouping proof and skills cleanly.
Overview
Good portfolio content is not just a list of tools. It connects skills to projects and projects to outcomes.
Use projects for evidence
Key points
- Give each project a clear name and one-line summary.
- Explain your role, not only what the team or company did.
- Add stack, audience, status, and public links when available.
- Include outcomes such as launched, saved time, increased conversion, reduced manual work, or improved quality.
Use skills for scanning
Key points
- Group similar skills instead of making one long mixed list.
- Put strongest and most relevant skills first.
- Remove tools you do not want to be hired for.
- Add context in project entries instead of trying to explain everything in the skill name.
Achievements make claims believable
If a project or role has a measurable result, add it to achievements or the project description so the generated site can use real proof.
