BaseStack help article

Prepare content before generating

A quick checklist for names, projects, links, photos, and proof before using AI generation.

Overview

You do not need a perfect resume to generate a good BaseStack site, but you do need enough truthful material for the AI to build around. Gather the basics before you spend AI operations.

Minimum useful content

Key points

  • Name, current role, location, and availability.
  • A short bio that says what you do and who you help.
  • Two or three projects with problem, role, tools, and outcome.
  • Important social links, portfolio links, GitHub, LinkedIn, or contact paths.
  • A clear call to action such as hire me, book a call, view work, or email me.

Optional details that improve the draft

Key points

  • Testimonials, press, awards, talks, certifications, or public proof.
  • Screenshots, portraits, and project images you have rights to publish.
  • Preferred tone, such as calm, technical, playful, editorial, or executive.
  • Things to avoid, such as not mentioning an old job or not using a certain color.

Save your work first

After editing your Data Tree, wait for the save state to complete before generating so the newest source material is used.
