Prepare content before generating
A quick checklist for names, projects, links, photos, and proof before using AI generation.
Overview
You do not need a perfect resume to generate a good BaseStack site, but you do need enough truthful material for the AI to build around. Gather the basics before you spend AI operations.
Minimum useful content
Key points
- Name, current role, location, and availability.
- A short bio that says what you do and who you help.
- Two or three projects with problem, role, tools, and outcome.
- Important social links, portfolio links, GitHub, LinkedIn, or contact paths.
- A clear call to action such as hire me, book a call, view work, or email me.
Optional details that improve the draft
Key points
- Testimonials, press, awards, talks, certifications, or public proof.
- Screenshots, portraits, and project images you have rights to publish.
- Preferred tone, such as calm, technical, playful, editorial, or executive.
- Things to avoid, such as not mentioning an old job or not using a certain color.
Save your work first
After editing your Data Tree, wait for the save state to complete before generating so the newest source material is used.
