Read site analytics

Understand views, visitors, referrers, campaigns, and the analytics dashboard.

Overview

Analytics are available on Pro and Studio plans for published pages. They help you understand whether people are visiting your site, where traffic comes from, and which sharing channels are working.

Key terms

Key points

  • Views: page loads recorded for a published site.
  • Unique visitors: distinct visitor tokens counted over the selected period.
  • Referrer: the site or app that sent the visitor, when the browser provides it.
  • UTM source, medium, and campaign: tracking tags you can add to links you share.
  • Device and browser: estimated from the visitor browser context.

Why numbers may look lower than expected

Key points

  • Analytics only record published public page traffic, not private editor previews.
  • Some browsers, extensions, and privacy tools limit referrer or visitor signals.
  • Repeat views from the same visitor can be debounced to reduce inflated counts.
  • A shared link without UTM tags may show as direct or referral traffic instead of a campaign.

Use campaign links for launches

When sharing a new portfolio, add UTM tags for LinkedIn, email, or a job application campaign so you can compare traffic sources later.
