Troubleshoot checkout or plan sync
Fix common billing issues after checkout, plan changes, or portal redirects.
Overview
Billing changes depend on Stripe events and account sync. Most plan display issues resolve after a refresh, but some require support to check the subscription state.
Try this first
Steps
- Return to BaseStack from the completed Stripe page.
- Open Settings and refresh billing status if available.
- Sign out and back in if the plan badge still looks stale.
- Wait a few minutes if checkout just completed.
- Check your email for Stripe payment failure or verification messages.
Contact support when
Key points
- Stripe shows payment succeeded but BaseStack still shows Free.
- The billing portal opens for the wrong account.
- You were charged but cannot access paid features.
- A downgrade or cancellation is not reflected in Settings.
- You see a specific error message during checkout.
Include identifiers
Send support the BaseStack account email and the approximate checkout time. Do not include full card numbers.
