Update account email, password, and sign-in methods

Overview

Your account email connects sign-in, support tickets, billing state, and site ownership. Keep it current and use a sign-in method you can access reliably.

Before changing account details

Key points

  • Make sure you can receive email at the new address.
  • Check whether your subscription was purchased with the same email.
  • Save any open Data Tree or editor changes.
  • Use password reset if you cannot remember your current password.

If you use OAuth

Overview

OAuth sign-in depends on the external provider account. If you lose access to that provider, contact support from the email tied to your BaseStack account and include any site slugs you own.

Account ownership matters

Support may need to verify ownership before discussing billing, private sites, unpublished Data Trees, or account deletion.
